Saama Technologies Inc seeks an Executive Director for Access-Supports for Living Careers. You will be a bold, strategic leader advancing the interests of member agencies by improving care, cultivating innovative service models, and building the next generation of leaders in the IDD field. The ED must translate vision into action, using data to inform decisions and advocacy, strengthening collaboration, and positioning NYIN as a national model for innovation in human services.

What You'll Do

Lead the development of shared top priorities across member agencies.
Translate strategic goals and vision into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
Lead long-range planning efforts and scenario modeling.
Anticipate industry and policy shifts, positioning NYIN to innovate ahead of change.
Manage governance, compliance, and fiscal stewardship.
Establish efficient systems for tracking performance and scaling successful pilots.
Identify opportunities and facilitate policy response and coordination among member agencies.
Coordinate schedules, logistics, and communications across a multi-agency collaborative.
Ensure compliance with nonprofit governance standards and grant obligations.
Secure resources through grants, partnerships, and shared funding strategies.
Foster a culture of trust, transparency, collaboration and mutual respect across all member agencies.
Serve as a convener of members and partners to test bold ideas and launch joint projects.
Cultivate alignment among CEOs and senior leaders around shared initiatives.
Engage regularly with member CEOs and senior staff to ensure alignment.
Build relationships with funders, government policymakers, and research partners.
Use data and outcomes to inform decision-making, evaluate new models, and strengthen advocacy.
Design and manage innovation labs, pilot projects, and collaborative ventures.
Build NYIN’s reputation as a risk-tolerant think-tank in the IDD sector.
Identify key trends in healthcare and social services and recommend proactive strategies.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in human services or health field.
At least 10 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, program development, fundraising, or related fields.

Nice to Have

Master’s Degree.

Team & Environment

You will work with a collaborative of 14 leading provider agencies with a combined workforce of over 20,000 people. The role reports directly to the NYIN Board of Directors.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation: $180,000-$225,000.
