About the Role

The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is hiring an Access Coordinator III-JEI Front Desk. This position functions as a key patient resource for scheduling and billing questions, ensuring comprehensive data collection, timely billing, and prompt payment collection. You will join an organization dedicated to improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans through a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Function as a patient resource for all scheduling and billing questions.
  • Facilitate comprehensive patient data collections.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Ensure prompt collections of payment for services rendered.
  • Facilitate scheduling coordination and conflicts.
  • Perform all duties of the Access Coordinator I & II level.
  • Perform other duties to support patient care activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • High School, GED or formal educational equivalent.
  • Three years’ experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer and basic keyboard skills.
  • Telephone etiquette skills.
  • General knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

This role is part of the ICE | CORE PA JEI Access team structure.
