About the Role

Azuga, a Bridgestone Company, is hiring a Solutions / Sales Engineer to act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for our customers. You will translate complex requirements into effective telematics solutions, working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Sales team to understand customer needs and design tailored telematics solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept trials, and technical presentations.
  • Translate technical features into business value for customers, from SMBs to enterprise accounts.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on GPS tracking, IoT devices, data integrations, and fleet management platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on custom integration needs, API solutions, and implementation plans.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during the sales cycle, including RFP/RFI responses and pre-sales support.
  • Train customers and internal teams on new products and technical updates.
  • Attend trade shows, webinars, and industry events to represent the company.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales role—ideally in telematics, IoT, SaaS, or fleet technology.
  • Strong understanding of telematics hardware, cloud-based platforms, APIs, and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with GPS, cellular connectivity, CAN bus data, sensors, and fleet management use cases.
  • Proven experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Willingness to travel as needed (10–25%).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with API integrations, data analytics platforms, or custom dashboard solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ELD compliance, FMCSA regulations, ISO standards).
