Penn State Abington is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Men's Golf Coach to help organize all aspects of the golf program. Reporting to the Head Men's Golf Coach and the Director of Athletics, you will support practice and game preparation while recruiting qualified student-athletes.
What You'll Do
- Help the Head Coach with organizing all aspects of the golf program
- Assist with practice and game preparation
- Assist with recruitment of qualified student-athletes
- Motivate student-athletes and encourage high academic standards and leadership skills
- Manage the team’s commitment to NCAA and United East Conference regulations
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience coaching or teaching golf
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
- Successful completion of PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
