Vodafone is looking for an Abinitio Tech Lead to design, develop, and deliver robust ETL solutions using advanced Ab Initio technologies. You will collaborate closely with product owners and global teams on strategic implementation projects, creating high-quality design artefacts and shaping efficient data staging and architecture.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the product owner and offshore teams as a hands-on designer and developer of complex ETL components using the latest Ab Initio technologies.
- Lead or contribute to defining, executing, and communicating ETL strategies and technical solutions.
- Develop data staging layers, data architectures, and integrations for internal and external application interfaces.
- Handle detailed functional designs and complex implementation activities across the full project lifecycle using Ab Initio tools.
- Create detailed low-level design documentation and functional mappings.
- Contribute to organisational improvements through better processes, resource optimisation, and modern tool adoption.
- Support quality processes and standards within the BI Service Line.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience with advanced Ab Initio tools and technologies.
- Skilled in SQL, UNIX/Linux, and scripting.
- Experienced in preparing high-level design documentation and leading end-to-end solution implementation.
- 8–12 years of relevant professional experience.
- A B.E, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc qualification.
Nice to Have
- Telecommunications domain experience.
