Nacar is looking for a Community Copywriter to be the frontline voice of a prominent U.S. apparel brand. This role lives at the intersection of copywriting, social media, and culture, shaping how millions of people experience the brand daily through clever, real-time engagement in comments and DMs.
What You'll Do
- Write clever, on-brand responses to customer comments and DMs across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- React in real time to trends, memes, and viral moments while staying true to brand guidelines.
- Turn questions, feedback, and even complaints into positive, human brand interactions.
- Collaborate with social, marketing, and customer experience teams to align messaging.
- Flag recurring customer insights, FAQs, and sentiment trends back to internal teams.
- Adapt tone and responses based on platform, audience, and moment.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional written English with a strong feel for humor, timing, and internet culture.
- Deep understanding of Gen Z / Millennial social behavior and comment-section dynamics.
- Ability to balance cleverness with professionalism—knowing when to joke and when to de-escalate.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, reactive social environments.
- Strong cultural awareness of North American consumers.
- Based in Canada, Costa Rica, or Latin America.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for consumer brands, especially apparel or lifestyle brands.
- Experience managing or responding to high-volume social comments.
- Familiarity with TikTok-first brand voices.
- Background in copywriting, community management, or social media.
- Experience working with U.S.-based brands or agencies.
