FLINT Corp. is hiring a 3D Construction Specialist to support our design and construction activities. In this role, you will combine 3D laser scanning and CAD-based modeling to produce accurate construction and as-built deliverables. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Whitecourt, AB, following a Monday–Friday schedule.
What You'll Do
- Collect field data using 3D scanners and total stations.
- Develop 3D models and fabrication drawings.
- Update as-built documentation.
- Coordinate technical information with project teams and site operations to ensure outputs are safe, constructible, and accurate.
What We're Looking For
- Journeyperson Pipefitter certification.
- Oil & Gas experience and strong knowledge of piping systems, P&IDs, and structural steel.
- Proficiency with CAD software and 3D tools, including CADWorx, SpoolFab/Acorn, Plant 3D, and Navisworks.
- Strong 3D visualization, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments, including travel to remote locations.
- Physical capability to perform demanding tasks in varying site conditions.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract (under 6 demerits).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mandatory safety certifications: H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), Standard First Aid, and WHMIS.
