Responsibilities
- collecting field data using 3D scanners and total stations
- developing 3D models and fabrication drawings
- updating as-builts
- coordinating technical information with project teams and site operations to ensure safe, constructible, and accurate outputs
Requirements
- Journeyperson Pipefitter certification with Oil & Gas experience and strong knowledge of piping systems, P&IDs, and structural steel.
- Proficient with CAD software and 3D tools, including CADWorx, SpoolFab/Acorn, Plant 3D, and Navisworks, with strong 3D visualization, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in both office and field environments, including travel to remote locations, and physically capable of performing demanding tasks in varying site conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with a clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract (under 6 demerits).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mandatory safety certifications: H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), Standard First Aid, and WHMIS.
