Titmouse is hiring a 2D Background Designer / Décorateur / Décoratrice to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing backgrounds for our animation projects, bringing environments and worlds to life.
What You'll Do
- Design and create background artwork for 2D animation productions.
- Work closely with the art and production teams to ensure visual consistency.
- Translate storyboards and concepts into detailed, stylized environments.
- Ensure all background art meets the technical and creative requirements of the project.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a 2D Background Artist, Illustrator, or in a similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a mastery of color, lighting, perspective, and composition.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency in digital painting and illustration software (e.g., Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint).
Work Mode
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Paris, France.
