ComForCare is hiring a Director of Opportunity to build and own the pipeline for securing paid speaking, teaching, and strategic engagements. You will target universities, accelerators, nonprofits, and global event organizers, managing the entire funnel from research to contract closure with the goal of generating $10,000/month in recurring revenue.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a pipeline of 200+ active opportunities across sectors.
- Keep all bios, digital profiles, speaker platforms, and decks updated.
- Research, pitch, apply, follow up, and close deals for paid engagements.
- Handle all scheduling, contract tracking, reminders, and pre-engagement coordination.
- Collaborate with content and brand teams to keep public-facing materials aligned.
- Track all data, hit your KPIs, and report weekly.
What We're Looking For
- Have booked paid engagements for a speaker, coach, professor, or creator.
- Excellent written communication and ability to tailor bios and proposals.
- Obsessed with managing your own deal pipeline and take pride in being the reason things get booked.
- Have worked with or pitched to universities, nonprofits, or accelerator programs.
- Understand the difference between 'getting attention' vs. getting paid.
- Know how to write a great follow-up email that actually converts.
Nice to Have
- Speak multiple languages.
- Have worked with higher education, economic development, startup orgs, or executive programs.
- Can show samples of bios, decks, speaker pages, or applications you’ve submitted and won.
- Are a systems thinker who builds structures and improves results quarter-over-quarter.
