Join M&T Bank's 2026 Operations Development Program within Banking Services. This immersive program is designed to build your professional and analytical expertise while developing leadership and collaborative skills through a customized, hands-on curriculum. You will gain exposure to high-level operational aspects, contribute to projects, and provide analytical support under the guidance of experienced managers.

What You'll Do

Develop and produce routine departmental reports and spreadsheets, including project/product strategy analyses, historical reporting, and financial analyses.
Conduct routine analysis and judgment-based work to support business decisions.
Perform data review, research, and reconciliation tasks.
Take a lead role in drafting and editing procedures for your assigned area.
Support user certifications and gather documentation for departmental audits.
Participate in planning, testing, and implementing new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes.
Assist with technical troubleshooting and escalations, coordinating with business partners, vendors, and technology teams.
Engage in all program-specific development activities.
Understand and adhere to the company's risk, regulatory standards, and internal controls, escalating issues as needed.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain internal control standards and implement audit points.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 4 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and industry-specific software.

Nice to Have

A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

You will work under the guidance of a manager or more senior analyst, gaining experience through structured support and mentorship as part of the Banking Services team.
