M&T Bank is hiring for its 2026 Management Development Program within the Wealth Markets division. This one-year, non-rotational training program prepares recent college graduates for a career as an Investment Advisor Associate by combining structured learning with hands-on experience alongside Wealth Advisors.
What You'll Do
- Participate in ten weeks of Core Training covering banking fundamentals, financial skills, technical skills, and leadership development.
- Complete two collaborative group project assignments, presenting recommendations to senior management.
- Receive job-specific On-the-Job training based on your departmental assignment.
- Develop knowledge of financial markets, the Wilmington Trust investment process, and wealth management offerings.
- Maintain knowledge of various bank resources to assist in client service delivery and expand relationships.
- Serve as a support associate to Wealth and Investment advisors as required.
- Participate in sales efforts, partnering with the team to develop additional opportunities for clients.
- Complete all tasks in a compliant manner with applicable laws and regulations.
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree candidate at a school where M&T Bank recruits MDPs, or an MBA student with no work experience.
- Outstanding academic credentials, including a GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Up to 1 year of work experience.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, computer, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Nice to Have
- Work or internship experience.
Team & Environment
You will join a small cohort within the Wealth Management division and report to both a Department Manager and a Leadership Development Manager-MDP.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $29.57 - $43.99 per hour.

This is an onsite position located in Radnor, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
