The Washington State Senate Republican Caucus is offering one advanced practicum placement for a University of Washington MSW student with an Administration/Policy concentration. This placement runs from fall quarter to spring quarter, aligning with the UW Academic Calendar, and includes both remote work and in-person responsibilities in Seattle, South King County, and Olympia, especially during the winter legislative session.
What You'll Do
- Work remotely during fall and spring quarters
- Attend on-site meetings in Seattle and South King County
- Work primarily out of the legislator’s Olympia office during the winter quarter when the Legislature is in session
What We're Looking For
- Must be an MSW student with an Administration/Policy Concentration
- Must follow the UW Academic Calendar for practicum duration
- Must sign a contract or agreement with the site
- Must apply by 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 12, 2026, or until filled
- Must have access to a personal vehicle
- Must be available for travel

Reporting to Field Instructor: Noha Mahgoub, Sr. Staff Director for the Senate Democratic Caucus.

Work Mode
