U-Haul is hiring a >150k OTE | Regional Sales Manager @confidential Energy company | Remote in Germany

About the Role

U-Haul is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead our expansion in the D-A-CH energy market. You will build long-term partnerships with customers and distribution partners for low and medium voltage products, driving strategic growth from Germany.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for sales of the entire low and medium voltage product portfolio in the D-A-CH region.
  • Clarify technical and commercial offers by capturing customer requirements, coordinating with business lines, and creating and tracking offers.
  • Strategically manage Key Accounts, including energy suppliers, grid operators, municipal utilities, and industrial companies.
  • Maintain and expand the distribution partner network.
  • Develop the market by creating and implementing specific sales strategies for the region.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with engineering offices, planners, and system integrators to identify projects early.
  • Acquire new customers through both direct sales and distribution partners.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new segments and derive actionable recommendations.
  • Develop new business ideas and elaborate go-to-market strategies as a basis for business line decisions.
  • Report on market and sales results, structured by product groups and business lines.

What We're Looking For

  • A completed technical degree, preferably in electrical/power engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in sales of complex, technical products requiring explanation in energy technology or power distribution.
  • Deep understanding of electrical grids, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
  • A relevant network to energy suppliers, municipal utilities, grid operators, planners, and partner companies in the D-A-CH market.
  • Demonstrable success in sales and customer management of complex technical solutions.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills and a confident demeanor with customers and partners.
  • Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region.
  • Fluent in German and English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the medium voltage/high voltage field.
