ClinChoice is hiring a Senior Project Manager - Biometrics for our in-house team. In this client-facing role, you will manage Biometrics project teams from study start-up through closeout, serving as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Independently manage Biometrics project teams from study start-up through closeout.
- Promote team building and communication to ensure effective team functions.
- Manage multiple complex projects, ranging in phase and scope of Biometrics services.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Establish and maintain client and vendor relationships to encourage new or repeat business.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Generate and maintain project timelines, milestones, and action items.
- Coordinate and lead project team meetings, creating and distributing agendas and minutes.
- Collaborate with finance to manage project budgets, generate monthly accruals, forecast future accruals, and initiate timely invoices.
- Proactively identify out-of-scope activities and execute necessary change orders.
- Recognize project issues, facilitate resolution, and escalate when needed.
- Implement risk identification, mitigation, management, and resolution.
- Participate in preparing for and attending governance meetings as required.
- Provide performance feedback on team members to respective line managers.
- Mentor and coach junior staff on project management processes and tasks.
- Support the generation and review of contracts, including Statements of Work and Change Orders.
- Confirm required project training is completed by the team.
- Support the preparation for internal and external audits and CAPA completion.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and bid defenses.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and SOP development, review, and updates.
- Develop and refine processes to drive greater efficiency or competitive advantage.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Senior Management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences.
- 5+ years of experience in the Pharma/CRO industry.
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Excellent understanding of Biometrics services, processes, and interdependencies.
- Ability to solve problems, multitask, and work independently with general direction.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, drug development, and project management processes.
- Good understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer focus.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a Biometrics role or managing projects across Biometrics functional areas.
- MBA or PMP certification.
