Fullmind is looking for a Virtual STEM Educator certified in South Carolina to provide live-streamed instruction to students across our network of partner schools. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role following school district calendars, where you will be instrumental in guiding students to academic success in STEM subjects.
What You'll Do
- Deliver live virtual instruction and guide students to complete their courses successfully.
- Promote creativity and excitement within the virtual learning environment.
- Create and implement strategies to engage students and nurture learning and relationships.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the provided class curriculum.
- Track student grades and monitor academic performance.
What We're Looking For
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A current South Carolina Teaching Certification in Middle School and/or High School STEM subjects.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional classroom teaching experience.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must possess a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Willingness to complete a virtual skills teaching demonstration and a background check as part of the hiring process.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with online teaching.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation is $29-$33 per hour. Rates are negotiable and subject to change.
