About the Role
The consultant will analyze client needs, configure Salesforce platforms, and deliver scalable solutions while working closely with development and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess client business processes and identify opportunities for Salesforce integration
- Translate business requirements into technical configurations and system enhancements
- Configure Salesforce environments including custom objects, workflows, and automation rules
- Collaborate with developers to implement complex integrations and extensions
- Support data migration activities and ensure data integrity across systems
- Conduct user acceptance testing and assist with issue resolution
- Deliver training sessions and create documentation for end users
- Participate in project planning and contribute to timeline estimations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features and best practices
- Ensure solutions comply with security and governance standards
- Provide post-implementation support and optimization recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to refine processes and improve system adoption
- Assist in preparing functional specifications and technical design documents
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement corrective actions
- Stay aligned with project scope, budget, and delivery milestones
- Engage in discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions
- Evaluate third-party apps and managed packages for integration needs
- Support agile project delivery with iterative feedback and adjustments
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to validate solution functionality
- Promote reuse of components and standardized approaches across projects
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Administrator or Consultant certification
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Marketing Cloud
- Knowledge of DevOps practices for Salesforce
- Exposure to Salesforce Lightning migration projects
- Background in financial services or regulated industries
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
- Experience with Salesforce DX and source control
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts
- Project management certification or training
- Multilingual communication abilities
