As the Workday HCM Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s Core HCM system, ensuring it supports evolving business needs. You will configure and manage Workday to improve data accuracy, streamline processes, and deliver a reliable experience for employees and administrators alike.
What You'll Do
Own the day-to-day administration of Workday Core HCM, including system configuration, data management, and process automation. Partner with teams across People, Finance, IT, and Identity Access Management to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions. Monitor system health, resolve data discrepancies, and serve as the primary point of contact for HCM-related issues.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing system upgrades, managing testing for new releases, and maintaining detailed documentation for configurations and workflows. Ensure business processes are well-documented and accessible to support team autonomy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Administrator with a focus on Core HCM configuration and business process design
- Current Workday certifications relevant to HCM administration
- Experience integrating HR technologies such as applicant tracking, learning management, performance, and time-tracking systems
- Solid knowledge of HR operations, policies, and compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with Workday modules including Payroll, Absence, and Time-Tracking
- Background administering Workday in global or multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks related to HR and finance

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru. Employees are expected to be in the office three days per week. Due to collaboration with colleagues in San Francisco, availability for meetings during late evening hours (IST) is required.
