Remote Talent LATAM is looking for a WordPress Developer in Guadalajara, México. You will translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive, and visually appealing WordPress websites. The role focuses on delivering high-quality user experiences by ensuring sites are fast, secure, and optimized, collaborating closely with designers and content managers.

What You'll Do

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and templates based on design mockups from tools like Figma, XD, or Sketch.
Convert PSD, Figma, or HTML/CSS prototypes into fully functional WordPress pages.
Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible.
Optimize front-end performance for speed, SEO, and best practices.
Implement and customize plugins while maintaining code quality and security.
Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across devices and browsers.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in WordPress development.

What We're Looking For

4 to 7 years of experience working with WordPress.
Strong English proficiency required for internal collaboration and occasional client interaction.
Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript is essential.
Strong experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Understanding of SEO best practices for front-end code.
Basic knowledge of PHP and the WordPress template hierarchy.
Familiarity with Git version control.
