onpier GmbH is looking for a Werkstudent Produkt Design / Konzeptentwicklung (w/m/d) to join our product team. You will help shape the future of digital value-added services for insurance companies in a B2B2C InsurTech start-up environment. Your focus will be on developing creative concepts for digital services from the initial idea to a rough concept, consistently thinking from the user's perspective.

What You'll Do

Develop creative concepts for digital services from the first idea to the rough concept, thinking consistently from the user's perspective.
Support the development and visualization of customer journeys, service processes, and user touchpoints for new and existing offerings.
Create initial scribbles, wireframes, or click dummies to turn ideas into tangible visualizations for internal teams and external partners.
Research market and design trends, analyze competitor offerings, and inspire the team with new impulses and creative approaches.
Work closely with product management, UX/UI design, business development, and partner management, actively contributing your design perspective.
Accompany ideation workshops, support preparation and follow-up, and document key results.

What We're Looking For

Enrolled student (m/f/d) in product design, interaction design, communication design, business informatics, business administration with a focus on innovation/product management, or a comparable degree program.
Very good German language skills (spoken and written).
Good English language skills.
A feel for design, customer experience, and digital products.
Ability to think creatively but also work in a structured and analytical way.
Interest in digital business models, platforms, and ecosystems.
Enjoy working independently but also like to contribute your ideas to the team.
Enjoy working on real products and want to be part of a platform that is just getting started.

Nice to Have

First experience with tools like Figma, Miro, Adobe XD or similar – not mandatory, but a plus.
