Gray Media’s WCJB is hiring a Web Producer/Video Editor to manage the daily production of our newscasts and digital content. You will be an integral part of our news team, creating compelling stories for broadcast and online audiences.
What You'll Do
- Edit video on deadline to craft a creative and informative newscast focused on viewer interests.
- Produce and promote content for WCJB.com and our social media feeds to drive audience engagement.
- Work within newscasts as a writer and writer/associate producer.
- Develop content for all our digital platforms.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience producing newscasts or online news content.
- Must stay current on local, state, national, and international events.
- Organized and able to work effectively with many personality types.
Nice to Have
- A bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and news staff on both newscast and digital content.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Gainesville, Florida.
