About the Role

Sasol is looking for a Wax Planner to join our team. In this role, you will track and achieve an optimal balance between requirements and demand for our product portfolio. You will consolidate on-demand needs, manage inventory levels, create stock movement orders, and develop transport and storage capacity plans.

What You'll Do

  • Execute and manage the optimal balance between requirements and demand dynamics for the business unit's products portfolio, collaborating with planning, production, marketing, sales, and logistics stakeholders.
  • Create stock movement and transfer requirement orders to enable order fulfillment as per the sales and operations plan.
  • Develop transport and storage capacity requirements within sales and operations planning processes, adjusting plans to meet customer level, supply reliability, and governance needs.
  • Consolidate and deliver on-demand requirements while adhering to planning aligned with internal control systems and business practices.
  • Evaluate and develop scenarios and strategies to address capacity shortages, performing business analysis to reduce risks and maximize available capacity.
  • Guarantee all activities comply with the business unit's processes, standards, and due dates.
  • Monitor the business unit's activities and assess achievement of KPIs within set timelines.
  • Oversee shorter-term scheduling-related interactions.
  • Manage inventory levels against set targets and provide insights and recommendations on target levels.
  • Submit timely reports to line management and provide recommendations for business cases related to new asset acquisition.
  • Apply evidence-based safety, health, and environmental practices aligned with set standards for safe operations.
  • Implement Sasol Group's risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve a balance between demand and requirements.
  • Continuously improve your own skills and knowledge, implementing and tracking a personal development plan to attain performance goals.
