Responsibilities
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across staff and worksites
- Support the creation and execution of inventory management protocols to maintain seamless operational support
- Accept, track, assess, and log all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform monthly audits of chemical and parts stock levels
- Submit precise inventory reports to the Controller by the fourth business day of each month
- Secure necessary chemicals and operational supplies by soliciting vendor quotes and issuing purchase orders in Dynamics
- Use inventory software including Dynamics, FIIX, and Excel to track and verify stock accuracy
- Place inventory orders within approved spending limits
- Evaluate stock levels and turnover rates to anticipate and correct shortages or overstock situations
- Record and investigate inventory loss due to theft or discrepancies
- Oversee secure and timely transport of all materials, parts, and supplies
- Coordinate warehouse upkeep and ensure safe handling practices during operations
- Monitor and regulate parts inventory stored at client sites
- Partner with field teams to manage off-site inventory, including procurement and delivery scheduling for remote locations
- Maintain vendor communications and assess variations in supplier performance and quality
- Foster reliable, long-term supplier partnerships
- Identify and evaluate alternate sourcing options to optimize procurement costs
- Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned
Working conditions vary and include
- Controlled office environment (Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00 in office requirement)
- Field work covering Texas, New Mexico, and other remote locations
- On occasions, weather conditions may include: Hot, cold, and/or inclement weather
- Dusty environments
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods in the warehouse on your feet, hot and cold
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at all times
