Waveguide LLC, part of Compass Group, is looking for Waitstaff to join our event service team at locations in Montreal and Laval. In this role, you will be the face of our dining service, providing prompt, professional, and warm hospitality to guests at various events.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently.
- Deliver orders promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets to advise guests.
- Communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests.
- Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to your supervisor.
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up before service and cleaned after service.
- Work collaboratively with staff from other departments to perform duties during special events.
What We're Looking For
- Must speak French.
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of your shift.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in the food services industry.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to get along well with others.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $31.91 per hour.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position. Locations include 1275 St-Antoine Ouest Montreal QC H3C 5L2, Place Bell, and 1950 Rue Claude-Gagne, Laval QC H7N 0E4.
