Deep Origin is hiring a VP/Head of Product to fully own, define, build, and scale all products and services across the enterprise. You will shape our software and services for early-stage drug discovery, translating complex scientific workflows into an intuitive, scalable, and high-impact platform for biotech and pharmaceutical customers.

What You'll Do

Own and define the product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for our core platform.
Shape the long-term direction of the platform in bioinformatics, AI-driven workflows, and drug discovery tooling.
Define and monitor key product and business success metrics.
Translate customer needs into scalable platform capabilities.
Engage regularly with customers (biotech, pharma, academia, government) to deeply understand workflows and unmet needs.
Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
Drive go-to-market alignment in partnership with commercial teams.
Lead product development for all products from ideation to launch and post-launch iteration.
Partner with engineering and AI teams to deliver high-impact features.
Work with marketing and sales/commercial teams to establish and execute a winning go-to-market strategy.
Build, manage, and coach a team of product managers as the company scales.
Drive clarity across engineering, design, science, and business stakeholders.
Lead roadmap planning, milestone alignment, and stakeholder consensus.
Influence without authority in a highly technical environment.
Help define product organization structure and best practices.
Establish scalable product processes for a growing company.
Navigate ambiguity and bring structured thinking to complex problems.

What We're Looking For

7 - 10+ years of product management experience.
3+ years of experience as Lead/Manager/VP.
Experience building B2B or enterprise SaaS products.
Experience launching products from early discovery through post-launch iteration.
Strong understanding of early-stage drug discovery, including the market, user needs, and the processes.
Experience building products for highly technical or analytical users.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
Ownership mindset – you take responsibility for building and improving systems that enable people and teams to perform at their best.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.
Strong collaborator who partners effectively with executives, managers, and cross-functional teams.
