Braze is hiring a VP of Product to lead product and engineering vision, strategy, and execution. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive the product vision to maintain market leadership and support scaling from $5M to $20M+ ARR, with a focus on integrating modern AI into product workflows.
What You'll Do
- Set and execute a bold product strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead annual and quarterly product planning cycles with executive collaboration.
- Represent the product and technology vision to customers, partners, investors, and the board.
- Engage in due diligence and technology integration for M&A opportunities.
- Build out the product team to support customer needs and growth.
- Support the professional development of engineering leadership and the engineering team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, customer experience, and sales.
- Establish scalable practices to support rapid iteration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Oversee technical architecture and guide product roadmap execution.
- Integrate modern AI tools and methodologies into product workflows to simplify processes and speed development.
- Lead teams through significant product releases, platform modernization, and AI-driven enhancements.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of leadership experience in product and engineering roles within SaaS environments.
- Proven track record scaling teams and products from $5M to $20M+ ARR.
- Expertise in balancing legacy systems, modernization, and innovative product development.
- Extensive experience with strategic roadmap planning and successful product launches.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI-driven software development practices.
- Demonstrated experience with successful M&A technology integration.
Nice to Have
- Background in GovTech or mission-driven technology companies.
- Prior experience as a founder or senior leader in a high-growth startup environment.
Team & Environment
You will be a key member of the executive team reporting directly to the CEO and will work closely with the Engineering Manager.
