044 CenterWell Pharmacy, Inc. is seeking a VP, Medicare Regional President to lead our Northeast Region. This market president role is responsible for managing the development, operations, and business results for the region, reporting to the East Division Senior Vice President. You will be part of a caring community focused on putting health first and continuously improving consumer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Manage development, operations, and business results for the Northeast region, covering Maine, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, and DC.
- Establish goals, objectives, and plans for the Region and drive financial and operational performance.
- Coordinate activities of senior managers and their respective functions.
- Represent the health plan externally and to governmental/external agencies and advocate for regional priorities internally.
- Develop strategic plans for the region and make decisions related to their implementation.
- Develop product strategy for annual Medicare Advantage plan filings.
- Lead the expansion and support for value-based care and innovation with internal and external providers.
- Build collaborative partnerships with aligned internal business partners.
- Manage P&L, including identification of key strategic business investments and capability development.
- Provide leadership to approximately 115 associates in Provider Contracting, Provider Engagement and Quality, Risk Adjustment, Clinical, and Financial Operations.
- Provide leadership development, including mentoring for associates outside the Northeast team.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- Extensive leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
- A proven track record of driving operational performance improvement.
- Proven experience developing multi-product strategy at the market level or higher.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of health plan finance and compensation arrangements between health plans and providers.
- Knowledge of risk arrangements and ability to influence these arrangements.
- A solid track record of hiring and developing talent and preparing associates for roles of broader responsibility.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to a state within the Northeast region.
Nice to Have
- A Master's or J.D. degree.
- A record of success leading provider contracting and provider engagement activities for all lines of business.
- Medicare Advantage experience.

You will lead a team of approximately 115 associates focused in Provider Contracting, Provider Engagement and Quality, Risk Adjustment, Clinical, and Financial Operations. You will report directly to the East Division Senior Vice President.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to a state within the Northeast region: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Washington D.C.
