Synchrony is seeking a VP, Digital Release Train Engineer to lead and coach an Agile Release Train, integrating capabilities into channel applications and driving process improvements across digital channels. This role works across multiple agile teams to bring innovative banking solutions to production by collaborating with scrum masters, product owners, and business leaders to set the agile roadmap and manage dependencies.
What You'll Do
- Lead large or enterprise agile initiatives utilizing Scaled Agile Methodology.
- Facilitate PI planning events.
- Directly manage a team of scrum masters.
- Lead, manage, and direct cross-functional resources throughout the agile lifecycle.
- Manage collaboration across agile teams, the ART, Large Solutions, Dependency teams, third parties, and waterfall teams.
- Track execution of features and capabilities.
- Plan and communicate with business and Technology leadership regarding agile program status, milestones, and issue resolution.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and priority or scope changes introduced to the ART.
- Manage a multimillion-dollar budget.
- Coach leaders and teams in lean agile practices and mindset.
- Develop an effective communication strategy across projects.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of Technology experience, or equivalent leadership program experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of IT experience, including developing and implementing information systems and project management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing information systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or as a scrum master with a strong understanding of Agile.
- Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
Team & Environment
You will work across multiple agile teams and directly manage a team of scrum masters.

- Annual base salary range: $110,000.00 - $185,000.00 USD.
