Salesforce is hiring a VP, Data360 Product Marketing to lead the strategic marketing for our enterprise data platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the narrative and driving growth for Data360, finding new opportunities across key business workflows, and leading a team to execute high-impact marketing.
What You'll Do
- Develop and evolve a compelling narrative and value proposition for the Data360 platform.
- Lead the team that builds all marketing collateral, from website content to demos and enablement materials.
- Partner closely with Product Management teams to ensure a cohesive narrative across Platform products.
- Develop and refine customer segmentation, documenting detailed personas and needs.
- Build and maintain a robust demand generation engine to drive pipeline aligned with sales objectives.
- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and drive customer acquisition.
- Launch new Data360 solutions and capabilities in coordination with Product and Sales leadership at key company events.
- Drive field readiness and enablement programs for new solutions.
- Work with industry experts and Analyst Relations to ensure effective thought leadership.
- Communicate effectively to align all stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, and customer success in a matrixed organization.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators for product marketing initiatives.
- Develop and grow a team of diverse product marketing talent.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of launching and growing enterprise products, preferably data platforms or similar technology.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in translating market needs into product requirements and manifesting vision through compelling positioning.
- Ability to influence and deliver results in global, matrixed environments.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time.
Team & Environment
This VP will report to the SVP of Next Gen Platform Product Marketing and serve on the leadership team alongside other Next Gen Platform product marketing leaders. The role is a critical member of our Next Gen Platform Product Marketing organization.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annual base salary range: $230,600 - $368,900. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the range is $251,500 - $402,400.
