About the Role

Lead the regional commercial engine across Asia for a growing hotel portfolio of 60+ properties and 12 brands, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Distribution, and E-commerce. This senior leadership role directly influences regional performance and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and Asia Regional Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and market share by managing commercial performance across 60+ hotels.
  • Influence hotel-level profit and loss outcomes by collaborating with General Managers and Operations to improve RevPAR, GOP, and flow-through metrics.
  • Maintain close engagement with local markets and properties to ensure strategies are implemented effectively and adjusted for regional conditions.
  • Align commercial goals with varied ownership expectations and investment timelines across assets.
  • Lead and develop regional heads in Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and E-commerce functions.
  • Ensure Global Sales teams located in the region deliver effective support to the property network.
  • Collaborate with Operations, General Managers, and ownership groups to align strategic direction with on-the-ground execution, particularly for key assets.
  • Bring clarity and structure to a multi-brand environment by enhancing brand positioning and consistency.
  • Enhance commercial capabilities, performance, and profitability across the region.
  • Increase direct booking volume and the contribution of loyalty programs to overall demand.
  • Play a central role in preparing new properties for launch and supporting pipeline expansion with effective commercial setups.
  • Improve performance through smarter use of data, systems, and distribution channels.
  • Strengthen strategic B2B and B2C partnerships in key markets to boost performance.
  • Support business development by shaping high-impact plans and initiatives that accelerate property signings and reduce ramp-up time.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in delivering commercial results in complex, multi-brand environments.
  • Experience leading regional commercial teams including Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Distribution, and E-commerce.
  • Proven track record in improving RevPAR, GOP, and flow-through performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with General Managers and Operations teams.
  • Experience managing diverse ownership structures and aligning commercial objectives with investment horizons.
  • Leadership experience overseeing regional heads across commercial disciplines.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and adapt strategies at the local level.
  • Track record of scaling commercial performance across expanding hotel portfolios.
