Tetra Tech is hiring a Volunteer Resource Coordinator

Trane Technologies is looking for a Volunteer Resource Coordinator to oversee volunteer services and community outreach for a juvenile justice facility. Under supervision, you will conduct research, implement policy, and administer social services programs focused on this vital community effort.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in conferences, seminars, presentations, and speeches for community and civic organizations.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the area business community, internal and external agency customers, and other contacts.
  • Recruit, monitor, maintain contact with, and train volunteers for community outreach projects.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and special events.
  • Respond to routine inquiries about the organization by answering questions or directing them appropriately.
  • Evaluate and monitor needed resources: volunteer activities, workshops, programs, and donations.
  • Review and process volunteer applications and the criminal history and background check process.
  • Update and maintain a monthly Calendar of Volunteer Events and the authorized volunteer/intern list for the site.
  • Serve as an additional facility staff member on the advisory council and attend all official Advisory Council Meetings.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite to include: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • One or more years of experience in Volunteer Services and community outreach.
  • One or more years of experience planning and organizing events for youth.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Annual salary of $40,000.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located in Georgia - Dekalb - Atlanta.
