Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Visual Designer to join our team. In this role, you will conceptualize and execute compelling visual solutions across digital and print channels, collaborating with marketing teams, writers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into clear, engaging, and innovative designs. You will be a key part of our forward-thinking, inclusive, and supportive design environment.
What You'll Do
- Conceptualize, design, and refine visual solutions for digital and print media, including email, web, social, event materials, and interactive displays.
- Present design concepts, storyboards, and stylescapes that communicate creative direction and rationale.
- Maintain and evolve brand standards, ensuring visual consistency and serving as a steward for internal design quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to optimize design for digital engagement and user experience.
- Support the development of design systems, toolkits, and style guides to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and cross-training to peers, participating in design reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current on digital design trends, tools, and accessibility standards to inform innovative solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic, Visual, or Human Interaction Design with emphasis on digital channels.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience in an agency or corporate marketing/communications environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, human-centered design, brand development, and digital user experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to convey design concepts clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe XD, Sketch, Jira, web or app design, e-commerce merchandising, Agile environment, web content management, and email/HTML graphics.
