Miami University seeks a Visiting Faculty member in English to teach courses during Fall Semester 2025. You will join a scholarly community dedicated to liberal education, character, and intellectual inquiry. The role involves teaching on a per-course basis, with classes delivered face-to-face or online as needed.
What You'll Do
- Teach developmental writing, first-year writing, and/or ELL writing classes as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s degree in English or a related field with 18 credit hours in English
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience
Nice to Have
- Experience teaching writing to diverse learners
- Experience teaching writing online
- TESOL/TEFL certification
Work Mode
This position operates in a hybrid capacity, with courses taught either face-to-face or online depending on the university's needs.
