Fullmind is looking for a Virtual Math and Science Educator (CA Certified) to teach curriculum virtually to middle and/or high school students. You will instruct on a district platform, playing a key role in ensuring students have access to quality education. Fullmind partners with hundreds of schools across the U.S. to make this possible.
What You'll Do
- Teach math and/or science curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
- Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
- Partner with an in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.
- Create strategies to engage students and nurture learning and relationships.
- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
- Record student progress and track grades and performance.
- Attend district professional development and faculty meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Current California High School and/or Middle School Math and/or Science certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Ability to complete LiveScan Fingerprinting (must live near or be willing to drive to a location).
- Willingness to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit a background check.
Nice to Have
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus.
Team & Environment
You will partner with an in-class facilitator who is physically in the classroom with students, working collaboratively to support student success.
Benefits & Compensation
- Daily rate of $260-$300; rates are negotiable and subject to change.
Work Mode
This is a virtual, remote position open to candidates in the United States.
