The Pennsylvania State University's Lion Health Lab is seeking a creative and self-motivated Videographer to join our team. This part-time, remote role involves digital media production for research communication, recruitment, and outreach, focusing on visual storytelling that highlights our lab's impact and community partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Record, edit, and produce short- and long-form video content highlighting lab projects, community programs, and research findings.
- Create promotional materials for the lab’s website, YouTube, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and lab team to plan, storyboard, and ensure brand alignment with Penn State and Lion Health Lab standards.
- Edit and organize media files, ensuring accessibility and consistency across communication channels.
- Maintain a professional, creative approach to storytelling aligned with the university’s mission and standards.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in video production, editing, and post-production.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Strong visual storytelling and creative direction skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable access to video-editing software, high-speed internet, and appropriate computer hardware.
Nice to Have
- Experience producing social media content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok.
- Familiarity with topics related to health, fitness, or community-based programs.
- Skills in photography, motion graphics, or digital design.

Team & Environment
You will be part of the Lion Health Lab, directed by Dr. Janette Watkins in the Department of Kinesiology at Penn State University, reporting to the Principal Investigator.
Work Mode
This is a part-time, fully remote position open to candidates within the United States.
