Pearl Talent is looking for a creative and fast-moving Video Editor to join a US-based marketing company. In this role, you will turn long-form and raw footage into high-performing clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms, driving viral organic reach.
What You'll Do
- Review internal long-form footage, livestreams, podcasts, and user-generated content to identify the most engaging moments for short-form use
- Edit high-quality short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical content platforms
- Enhance videos with captions, transitions, sound design, overlays, and motion graphics to maximize storytelling and engagement
- Manage a high volume of fast-turnaround edits while maintaining consistent quality and brand alignment
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, and Community teams to ensure content supports broader brand and campaign goals
- Monitor trends in short-form video, emerging editing styles, and popular audio to keep content fresh, relevant, and competitive
- Prepare and format clips for distribution across secondary pages, fan accounts, and partner channels to amplify reach
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful short-form content
- Demonstrated experience creating for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with a solid grasp of platform-specific trends, best practices, and algorithm dynamics
- Ability to work quickly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meet tight deadlines
- Strong creative instincts for pacing, framing, and visual storytelling tailored to short-form formats
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and receiving constructive feedback in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and resourceful in navigating a constantly evolving content landscape
Nice to Have
- Experience editing content in event, music, or community-driven industries
- Skills in motion graphics or animation
- Knowledge of vertical-first shooting and editing techniques
