Alliance Animal Health is hiring a Veterinary Remote Talent Acquisition Generalist

About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for veterinary positions. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and developing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting processes for veterinary positions.
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate interviews and provide feedback to hiring managers.
  • Extend job offers and facilitate onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and metrics.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and pipeline health.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of recruitment processes and tools.
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions and postings.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage recruitment activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback on the recruitment process.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to hiring managers on effective recruitment practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the recruitment team.
