Alliance Animal Health is looking for a Veterinary Regional Manager to oversee Practice Managers and lead hospitals across our network in the New York/NJ area. This role is central to enhancing hospital performance, implementing key initiatives, and collaborating closely with regional leadership and veterinary partners.
What You'll Do
- Directly oversee and lead the Practice Managers at each assigned hospital.
- Work directly with Practice Managers on hospital operations including staffing, inventory, budgeting, scheduling, marketing, training, and human resources.
- Act as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location, building strong relationships and incorporating their feedback.
- Collaborate with the Senior Regional Manager to review financial reports with practice leadership and develop growth strategies.
- Review non-financial reports such as inventory and scheduling budgets and drive plans for improvement.
- Manage the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.
- Travel to practices 4 days per week with 1 office day (could be at practices 5 days a week as needed).
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication, team-building and leadership skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple locations for a multi-site operator in the veterinary industry.
- Self-starter excited to work in an entrepreneurial environment and can take initiative.
- Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing budgets and financial statements.
- Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Must live within the NY/NJ area.
Team & Environment
You will be overseeing 5-6 hospitals in the New York/NJ area. You’ll work closely with the Regional Director, Vice President of Operations, Veterinary Partner Doctors, Practice Managers, and the Internal Operations team.
