Ferguson is hiring a Vendor Funds Analyst

About the Role

Ferguson is looking for a Vendor Funds Analyst to maintain the financial integrity and accuracy of assigned vendor funds programs. In this finance role, you will optimize programs, communicate with vendors, and ensure accurate rebate calculations and collections.

What You'll Do

  • Perform financial accounting including calculation of rebate receivable and inventory reserve for vendor programs.
  • Make recommendations to sourcing regarding changes to vendor agreements to enhance revenue.
  • Regularly track and suggest alternative purchasing plans to effectively achieve purchasing tiers and related revenue.
  • Connect with vendors to ensure compliance with sourcing agreements, resolve issues, and streamline the process.
  • Provide direction to the accounting department regarding the allocation of payments to individual business divisions.
  • Assist in the creation of sourcing agreements to ensure clarity and understanding by all parties.
  • Ensure negotiated vendor program details are accurately reflected in rebate calculation software.
  • Reconcile vendor payments against defined program parameters to ensure receipt of accurate and timely payment.
  • Analyze and compare vendor-submitted information to internal information to ensure all eligible purchases are included.
  • Collect vendor payments and supporting data.
  • Meet with category managers regularly to update them on program status.
  • Communicate with category managers and Finance on vendor program status and issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Medium to advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the supply chain process.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience ideal in this area or a related field.

Compensation: $3,375.00 - $5,500.00 Monthly

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role, with location options for Remote within the United States or Newport News, VA.
