About the Role

Pfizer is looking for a Vaccines Account Manager for the Nashville Metro W, TN area to collaborate with partners to grow the appropriate use of Pfizer Vaccines and increase immunization rates. You will identify shared objectives, align resources, and deploy solutions to achieve targeted clinical and business results by focusing on contract negotiations and building productive relationships with key decision-makers.

What You'll Do

  • Form collaborative partnerships with decision-makers at large integrated delivery networks and medical groups to conduct needs assessments and deliver compliant solutions that increase access and appropriate vaccine use.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with targeted Integrated Delivery Networks, Medical Groups, and Buying Groups.
  • Develop productive relationships with decision makers at managed care organizations and health plans to ensure access.
  • Develop relationships with State Department of Health Immunization Program Management to understand state policies and maximize vaccine utilization.
  • Lead local coordination of internal colleagues at targeted accounts to ensure alignment and pull through of access opportunities.
  • Prioritize customers, opportunities, and projects to maximize impact, leveraging all available data sets.
  • Execute marketing programs across customer segments and present approved materials to deliver value-added messaging.
  • Drive innovation and new approaches to help exceed business objectives.
  • Collaborate across all customer-facing teams to ensure a one Pfizer approach.
  • Stay current and strategically align with the changing healthcare environment.
  • Provide marketing and strategy teams with key local and customer-specific insights.
  • Cultivate relationships and generate support from KOLs and organizational decision makers.
  • Maintain active customer plans and data sets via company planning resources.
  • Collaborate with local immunization panels, associations, and coalitions to promote compliance with immunization practices.
  • Meet or exceed product performance objectives for assigned portfolio of vaccines.
  • Demonstrate use of the commercial approach and leverage resources to continually develop capabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • BS/BA Degree Required
  • 5-10 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience with a proven track record of performance.
  • Demonstrated track record of assessing account needs and bringing cross-functional tools and resources to drive performance.
  • Demonstrated advanced negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong business acumen, problem solving, strategic thinking, project management, and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong leadership, cross functional leadership, collaboration, and effective resource utilization.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data to prioritize business opportunities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook.
  • Candidate must live in or be willing to relocate to a location within a commutable distance to majority of assigned accounts.
  • Approximately 25%-50% travel is required.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including influencing peers, developing others, and guiding work to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior team management and / or Account Management preferred or an aligned development role with demonstrated leadership.
  • Contracting experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with vaccine or specialty products preferred.

Team & Environment

Collaboration partners include vaccine sales, pharmacy, institutional sales, government relations, medical, PCA (Payer and Channel Access), IM, Oncology, I&I Account Management and marketing teams. You will report to the Vaccine Account Director and the National Account Management Lead.

  • Compensation: $169,700.00 to $282,900.00
