HP's Print Global Experience and Design organization is hiring a UX Architect Lead for its Home Solutions Print Design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the structure and flow of overall experiences users have while interacting with HP's print products, services, or systems. You will apply user-centered design principles to create seamless user journeys, intuitive interfaces, and meaningful interactions.
What You'll Do
- Inspire and lead multiple project teams of designers and internal/outsourced partners responsible for all stages of UX design and development for a portfolio of complex products and platforms.
- Design user experience solutions for products and service lines based on established design principles, strategy, and guidelines.
- Drive and expand relationships with internal and outsourced partners on UX design and development.
- Work collaboratively with Product Marketing, R&D, quality, and support teams to gather insights and derive solutions that improve the overall experience.
- Test and gather user experience data according to research plans; analyze and report results to design stakeholders.
- Review and evaluate designs for compliance with UX guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve product quality.
- Provide domain-specific UX expertise and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, User Interface Design, or equivalent.
- 9-12 years of experience.
- End-to-end product design/delivery experience, from ideation to concept creation to implementation.
- Broad experience applying user-centered design, theories, and concepts to a portfolio of IT and consumer products/services.
- Experience crafting seamless and intuitive experiences across both digital interfaces and physical product interactions.
- Experience in a fast-paced software environment, executing against aggressive timelines.
- Experience designing web and mobile solutions.
- Broad understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for interactive and interface design testing.
- Ability to effectively communicate design data, proposals, and specifications and negotiate options at senior management levels.
- Excellent skills in wireframing and prototyping design tools (Figma, Miro, etc.).
- Experience in UX Research.
