A UX Architect Lead is needed to join the Home Solutions Print Design team within the Print Global Experience and Design (GxD) group. This role centers on shaping the structure and flow of user experiences across products and services by applying user-centered design methods. The individual will lead design research initiatives, establish experience goals, mentor designers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Leads multiple project teams of designers and internal or outsourced partners through all phases of user experience design and development, including information architecture, validation, and specification creation.
- Creates user experience solutions for products and service lines aligned with established design principles, strategy, and organizational guidelines.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with internal teams and external partners involved in user experience design and development.
- Collaborates with Product Marketing, R&D, quality assurance, and support teams to collect insights and develop improvements to the overall user experience.
- Conducts user experience testing and collects data according to defined research plans; analyzes findings and communicates results to design stakeholders.
- Evaluates designs and project activities for adherence to user experience standards and guidelines, offering actionable feedback to enhance product quality and usability.
- Offers specialized expertise and a holistic user experience perspective to initiatives and programs across the organization.
- Promotes innovation by integrating emerging technologies and evolving design languages into user experience practices.
- Mentors and provides guidance to junior designers to support their professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, User Interface Design, or a related field.
- Typically 9 to 12 years of professional experience in user experience design.
- Proven experience leading product design and delivery from initial concept through implementation.

Compensation
Annual salary range of $130,350 to $200,750. Additional compensation through equity awards and bonus opportunities.
