The Senior UX Researcher at Delivery Hero's HungerStation will lead end-to-end user research initiatives across the product lifecycle, ensuring decisions are grounded in deep user understanding. This role collaborates closely with product, design, and analytics teams to translate user insights into actionable strategies across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end research initiatives, from defining goals and selecting methods to conducting studies, synthesizing findings, and communicating insights.
- Conduct in-field and remote research with real users across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region, including intercept interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability sessions in public spaces or on-call.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns and trends in user behavior.
- Balance qualitative and quantitative methods, such as in-depth interviews, diary studies, surveys, analytics deep-dives, and A/B test evaluation.
- Document findings thoroughly through structured reports, visual frameworks, and presentation decks that drive design and product decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and analytics to ensure research insights are timely, actionable, and measurable.
- Advocate for users by communicating insights clearly and confidently to stakeholders, translating empathy into impact.
- Build scalable research frameworks to improve consistency, speed, and rigor across the team.
- Running in-person usability sessions in Riyadh’s busiest malls to test the onboarding flow for new users.
- Conducting delivery rider shadowing and diary studies to understand post-order experience pain points.
- Analyzing survey and app analytics data to uncover churn reasons and improve retention.
- Facilitating concept testing workshops with product and design teams to validate early ideas before development.
- Leading feature validation studies for new product launches or key initiatives within our Food, Quick Commerce, or FinTech domains.
- Developing deep-dive reports on specific user segments (e.g., first-time users, loyal customers, or vendors) to guide domain or product strategies.
