ICF is hiring an Utility Intake Analyst

About the Role

ICF Incorporated, LLC is seeking a Utility Intake Analyst to support a local utility program with project-specific work. In this role, you will focus on environmental intake and data management, working closely with the project team to compile construction activities, conduct data queries, and manage comprehensive project documentation.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct environmental intake and provide support for other projects as necessary.
  • Collect and communicate data to support environmental project intake for programs like EHSync, the Covered Conductor Program (CCP), and the Grid Reliability and Maintenance Program (GRM).
  • Compile and verify construction activities and work locations.
  • Conduct data queries through environmentally sensitive area (ESA) databases to identify required subject matter expert review assignments.
  • Compile data related to environmental requirements into field-ready compliance documents.
  • Assemble and maintain detailed work description packages.
  • Develop and manage project figures and maps using Google Earth or ArcGIS Online.
  • Track project milestones, due dates, and follow-up action items.
  • Provide timely updates on the status of deliverables to clients and internal teams.
  • Engage subject matter expert team members to support task assignments and ensure timely responses.
  • Maintain and update Excel tracking sheets and SharePoint sites.
  • Maintain project documentation and file systems.
  • Provide meeting support including notetaking and tracking follow-up tasks.
  • Manage and update the program SharePoint site.
  • Monitor shared Outlook inboxes for project-specific communication.
  • Support project setup, maintenance, and close-out activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, business or finance, GIS, or a related field and/or 4 months of equivalent intake program experience, preferably with SCE’s EHSync, CCP, and GRM.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, data repositories, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in file management and document control.
  • Detailed understanding of procedures for keeping accurate project and accounting records on a timely basis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and agency staff.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice to Have

  • Some understanding of database queries, SharePoint site management, Google Earth, and other technical data management tools.
  • General familiarity with ArcGIS Online, Google Earth, or similar mapping tools.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $55,148.00 - $93,752.00

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role. Southern California is the preferred location, but remote candidates will be considered. The position can also be based in San Diego, CA.
