The League is seeking a highly analytical User Acquisition Manager to lead customer acquisition efforts and grow the community of members. This remote role will report to the CMO, oversee all acquisition channels, and shape the marketing strategy across paid and owned efforts in US timezones.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow the marketing team by leading all acquisition efforts including SEO, ASO, SEM, earned media, social media and PR
- Oversee the full acquisition funnel, look for opportunities to optimize conversion and efficiency
- Primary owner of churn and retention rate for The League
- Define and ensure consistent brand voice across all marketing efforts
- Develop a clear, consistent process for measuring digital campaign effectiveness & ROI
- Manage the monthly marketing budget across all paid channels to achieve growth targets at the target CAC, report weekly on performance metrics and spending
- Create local and hyper local strategies to target and acquire customers in tight radius around our operating regions through digital as well as non-digital partnerships
- Dive deep into the data on customer personas and cohorts to identify the League’s ideal customer, direct the acquisition funnel to find more of them, and design retention programs to increase their lifetime value
- Identify and experiment with new channels of acquisition with a results-driven mindset to broaden our reach and hit growth targets
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and evaluation of all external agency relationships and partnerships the League develops to support its marketing efforts
What We're Looking For
- Highly analytical with a track record of customer acquisition
- Experience in designing acquisition strategy for paid social, search, and other channels
- Proven ability to work closely with analytics and product teams to execute marketing strategy
- Experience overseeing the full acquisition funnel with a focus on conversion and efficiency optimization
- Ownership experience with churn and retention rate metrics
- Ability to define and maintain consistent brand voice across marketing efforts
- Experience developing processes to measure digital campaign effectiveness and ROI
- Experience managing monthly marketing budgets across paid channels to meet growth targets at target CAC
- Ability to create local and hyper-local customer acquisition strategies in operating regions
- Experience using customer persona and cohort data to direct acquisition and retention strategies
- Results-driven mindset with experience identifying and testing new acquisition channels
- Experience managing external agency relationships and marketing partnerships
