The International Refugee Assistance Project seeks a U.S. Litigation Deputy Director to lead and execute complex litigation strategies. This is a full-time, remote litigation role based in New York, dedicated to advancing the rights of refugees and displaced people.

What You'll Do

Develop and lead high-impact litigation strategies and legal advocacy at the federal and state levels.
Manage complex litigation from initial investigation through briefing, argument, and appeals.
Conduct legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Collaborate with legal teams, partner organizations, and clients to build strong cases.

What We're Looking For

Juris Doctor degree and admission to a state bar.
Significant experience in federal court litigation and appellate advocacy.
Deep knowledge of administrative law, constitutional law, and immigration law.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex cases and legal projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
