Netflix is looking for a Remote Lead Enterprise Architect to define and drive the architectural strategy for our large-scale, distributed systems. Based in Seattle, you will play a critical role in shaping technical direction, ensuring system resilience, and scaling our global infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Define and evangelize enterprise-wide architectural standards and patterns
- Lead complex technical designs for high-impact, large-scale initiatives
- Guide and mentor senior engineering teams on architectural best practices
- Analyze system trade-offs and make strategic recommendations to leadership
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to align technology with business goals
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on large-scale distributed systems
- Proven track record as a lead or principal architect in a complex, global organization
- Expert knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience driving architectural change and influencing senior technical leaders
