Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio files into clear, well-structured text
- Work with a variety of audio types, including: Single-speaker recordings
- Work with a variety of audio types, including: Podcasts
- Work with a variety of audio types, including: Multi-speaker conversations
- Identify speakers where applicable
- Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail
- Follow project-specific transcription and formatting guidelines
- Convert audio content into written text
- Maintain consistency in formatting and structure
- Ensure clarity and completeness of transcriptions
- Label or tag segments of text or audio
- Categorize content based on provided guidelines
- Support data quality and training datasets
Requirements
- Very high proficiency in American English
- Good written English
- Strong listening and comprehension skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and guidelines
- Minimum 4 hours of availability required during scheduled transcription shifts
Nice to Have
- Previous transcription or annotation experience is a plus, but not required
