Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio files into clear, well-structured text
• Work with a variety of audio types, including: Single-speaker recordings
• Work with a variety of audio types, including: Podcasts
• Work with a variety of audio types, including: Multi-speaker conversations
• Identify speakers where applicable
• Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail
• Follow project-specific transcription and formatting guidelines
• Convert audio content into written text
• Maintain consistency in formatting and structure
• Ensure clarity and completeness of transcriptions
• Label or tag segments of text or audio
• Categorize content based on provided guidelines
• Support data quality and training datasets

Requirements

• Very high proficiency in American English
• Good written English
• Strong listening and comprehension skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and guidelines
• Minimum 4 hours of availability required during scheduled transcription shifts

Nice to Have

• Previous transcription or annotation experience is a plus, but not required
