Position Details: Unit Secretary, Telemetry, Full-time, Evenings 3pm-11:30pm, every third weekend Job Summary: This role encompasses diverse clerical responsibilities including phone management, procedure scheduling, and supporting departmental operational efficiency. Interactions span across physicians, visitors, team members, and patients of all age groups. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent (advanced education preferred) - Experience: Minimum one year clerical experience in medical setting - Previous computer proficiency required Essential Skills and Abilities: - Proficient computer, printer, and fax machine operation - Strong telephone communication techniques - Ability to maintain positive attitude under pressure - Effective verbal and written communication - Following directions precisely - Emergency situation responsiveness - Flexible scheduling adaptability - Collaborative team functioning - Independent time management and priority setting Compensation: - Pay Range: $17.68-$24.76 - Additional benefits available All information will be handled confidentially according to EEO guidelines.
