Virtuos China Limited is hiring an Unity Engineer

Virtuos China Limited is looking for a Unity Engineer to join our newly created branch. You will work on a range of projects from backend services for online games to porting AAA PC titles to mobile platforms, collaborating within agile teams to push the boundaries of game development.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate within teams using daily stand-ups and agile methodologies to synchronize work.
• Participate in tactical planning meetings to understand the scope of day-to-day tasks.
• Develop backend services to provide functionality for online games and deliver game-related data in real-time.
• Create efficient netcode focused on data transfer and the game server side of multiplayer games.
• Implement user interface frameworks that allow UX designers to create engaging user experiences.
• Work on the development of new AAA mobile experiences and port existing AAA PC games to mobile platforms.
• Help other teams with performance and memory optimizations of their code.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of C# (OOP) from university or at least 1-year related work experience.
• At least hobby-level experience with Unity.
• Capability and enthusiasm to learn quickly.
• Passion for the game industry.
• English at the communication level.

Nice to Have

• Similar knowledge of C++ is an advantage.
• Similar knowledge of Unreal Engine is an advantage.
