Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Union Lead Journeyman to ensure the reliable operation of critical mechanical systems within our data center environments. This onsite role is based in Alpharetta, GA.

What You'll Do

Implement critical environment protocols and Method of Procedure (MOP) processes.
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems, chilled water systems, cooling towers, and air handling units.
Inspect and maintain pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and precision cooling systems.
Perform regular filter changes, coil cleaning, and system optimization.
Monitor mechanical system performance using Building Management Systems (BMS).
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and industry standards.
Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical components including bearings, belts, and motors.
Update work orders and manage tasks using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

What We're Looking For

3-5 years of technical experience in Data Center or Critical Environments, with a focus on mechanical systems.
A strong HVAC background, including precision cooling systems and chilled water plants.
Proven experience with mechanical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and related control systems.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of data center cooling strategies and thermal management.
Experience with cooling system monitoring and preventative maintenance programs.
Background in industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems.
Familiarity with building automation systems and mechanical fire/life safety systems.
