Maryville University seeks an adjunct faculty member to serve as an Undergraduate OB Clinical Instructor for Nursing. In keeping with our mission and vision, we look for experts in their fields with a passion for teaching. You will join our team to provide key clinical instruction and supervision to undergraduate nursing students on campus in St. Louis, Missouri.
What You'll Do
- Provide OB clinical instruction to undergraduate nursing students.
- Supervise students in the Nursing Resource Center.
- Facilitate patient selection to aid student fulfillment of course objectives.
- Facilitate clinical conferences.
- Evaluate student performance in the clinical setting.
- Complete onboarding requirements with clinical partners prior to the first clinical day.
What We're Looking For
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Minimum of two years’ recent clinical experience
- Unencumbered Missouri RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Available to teach on campus at our location in St. Louis, Missouri
Nice to Have
- Experience in undergraduate nursing education
- Experience in simulation
- Experience using Canvas or other relevant online course delivery platform
- Experience with the electronic medical record
